Sangria lovers—let me introduce you to your new go-to hack for summertime hosting. Sangria is already a pretty perfect big-batch cocktail for serving a crowd, but in the hot summer months, turning it into an ice-cold slushy is just what the doctor ordered. So grab your fave bottle—things are about to get chilly.
To make these slushies, I freeze red wine in ice cube trays. You can do this the night before, or a few days ahead! Once frozen, simply combine in a blender with fresh-squeezed orange juice, brandy, and a bit of honey, then blend until you reach your desired slushy consistency. Garnish with orange and lime, and you’re ready for summertime sippin’.
More of a white or rosé sangria person? Either works super well with this easy ice cube tray hack!
