What makes for Filipino cuisine? Over 40,000 years of rich history gathered from over 7,600 islands.
That’s a lot! And though we will never be able to fully elucidate that question, we will try. Simply put, that’s our goal for Delish Philippines. To record the very dishes and stories that make up our diverse cuisine as immortalized by beautiful words and photos.
Representing Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao Food
Right in time for the National Filipino Food Month, the One Mega Group Inc. (OMGI), a subsidiary of AGC Power Holdings Corp. (AGC PHC), has set the stage for Delish Philippines, the local edition of the Hearst food brand that’s become synonymous to approachable, no-stress cooking. Today, April 14, 2026, marks the launch of their very first adaptation overseas.
Representation is a big word for us. It’s a promise we wish to nobly honor. And that’s why you can expect not just recipes from various regions, but also noteworthy accounts on events, dishes, produce, establishments, people and traditions from every corner of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. Only by doing so can we claim that we do represent the country.
Top Filipino Chefs Supporting Delish PH
Another is to be at arms with and to get the support of the industry’s finest. And the launch event at Casa Buenas, located at the Newport Grand Wing in Pasay, made that possible. Many of the most respected figures in the food and beverage world attended the merienda where modern interpretations on kinilaw, pianggang, kare-kare and okoy were served.
Present were Michelin-starred chefs such as Josh Boutwood, Aaron Isip, Don Baldosano and Nicco Santos; respected food writers Nina Daza and Micky Fenix, restaurateurs Carlo Lorenzana of Goxo, Ramon Uy Jr. of Lanai, and Ana de Ocampo of Wildflour, and veteran chefs Myrna Segismundo and Glenda Barretto.
Bringing Filipino Cuisine to the Global Stage
Delish Philippines is indeed ripe and ready to introduce Filipino cuisine to the global stage. With its vibrant storytelling, modern recipes featuring endemic ingredients, and deep appreciation for untold stories, the multimedia platform is making it possible for anyone to discover the heart of Filipino cooking—simple, soulful and robust in flavor.
According to Publisher Randolf Palanca, “We believe that Filipino cuisine is at the beginning of a global movement.
